When my parents were here, I thought it would be fun to coat sliced apples in caramel I got the recipe from Nelly its fun to have a pastry chef friend! - Rebel Caramel , follow the link for great instructions. It amazed me how simple sugar and water with milk can make a wonderful caramel sauce.
