Mr. Torghele in Italy has designed a vending machine that makes pizza from scratch mixing up with dough, adding toppings and then baking. This all happens right in front of the customers eyes through a little window! In Milan there is chain called brekky that offers salads, sandwiches and hot pastas. Machines are also able to offer fresh fruit in fitness centers and schools.
While you certainly can't beat fresh home cooked food, these could be good options while on the road or for our kids in school. America's rest area's should be better equipped with healthier choices, and follow Europe's lead.
